Getting to Know You

 I have been so lucky to have Paul's mom, Becky, here to help out around the house and with the dogs. I couldn't have asked for more wonderful help and I admit I feel a little bit spoiled. When as an adult do you get someone cooking every meal for you and cleaning up and someone who does your laundry and cleans your house? That's right, never. I am so thankful for her making the transition home a bit easier! 

Millie and Jack are thankful too. Becky was letting them in and out (and in and out and in and out) all morning while Emmerich and I napped or nursed, or played. The pups have been getting to know Miss Emmerich in the last week and have been so wonderful with her. Poor Jack got as little sleep as Paul and I did on our first night home from the hospital. He was up and pacing with every little sound that she made. Thankfully Emmerich is sleeping through more of the night and Millie and Jack have quickly learned to tune out some of her late night crying. I'm sure they can't wait for her to grow so they can have a new playmate :)
