I made the lasagna soup. Yum-O.
It is very similar to the Stop and Smell the Rosemary cookbook's tortellini soup (a favorite of mine) but with a chicken broth base and less veggies. Next go around I will do a little combining of those two recipes...something like this:
Bring to a boil
2 cans fire roasted tomatoes
2 cans italian stewed tomatoes
6 cups chicken broth (large recipe)
Add and cook for 15 min
3/4 lb browned crumbled italian sausage
1 zucchini in bite size pieces
1 cup green beans in bite size pieces
1 sm. package cheese tortellini
fresh basil and parm for topping
Love soup weather!!

I've been wanting to try this so glad to know it won't be a bust, ha!
