Well the cool front is here. Its chilly outside which means we are having chili inside (couldn't resist:)
Here's my chili and cornbread with a generous sprinkling of cheese. Yum-O. I would also like to take this opportunity to let you all know that TRUE Texas Chili does not have beans. This is not up for debate. My 8th grade home economics teacher told me this fact and she teaches 8th grade home economics and therefore has to be correct. Amen.
Brady and Halie also tried this recipe tonight at his place in ATX. I got some play by play action via text message.
Well done friends, well done!
And...Brady approves. Yea for yummy dinners!
As a side note - and this may not be humorous to those who don't know Brady - but Halie made Brady try plain V8. Failure, big Failure. I'm right there with you Brady, some things are just better IN a recipe!
