We are raising a criminal!

The crime? THEFT.
The culprit? We are guessing Millie but Jack is probably an accomplice.
This is the second toy that has appeared in our yard and does not belong to us. Also included in the loot are two bones. Notice the mischievous look on Millie's face!

Toy stealing aside, they are getting along with all of the other dogs in the neighborhood and absolutely love not having a fence. Both Paul and I were pretty nervous about how they would do with all of that freedom, but I have to say that I have been pretty impressed. The first week that they were here we kept one of them on a leash at all times and walked them around our property and the neighborhood. The following week I followed them every time that they went out and made sure that they didn't venture too far. Now they can go out as they please. They happen to love the neighbor's yard (he doesn't have a fence either). Their yard is filled with giant pecan trees and in turn, it is also filled with lots and lots of squirrels. They have a blast. The spend most of the morning outside playing and laying under the pecan trees and they come in a few times in the AM, then by about 2 o'clock they are exhausted. They come in and basically pass out on the cool time floor for the rest of the day until Paul gets home at about 5 or 5:30 and then they go for one more play time. They are both getting a ton of exercise and are looking slim and trim. :)
